Golda “Goldie” ( yes she had red hair) and Fred bought and operated a General Store in Marco, Indiana. Golda suffered from Alzheimer disease and was later admitted to a nursing home until her death. When I was about nine years old, Cloe and Robert tried very hard to get my parents to let me accept Jesus at the Shaker Prairie Christian Church, but they would not consent to it. For this reason, of all the cousins that I knew at that time, I have always felt very close to this couple. They were of the Christian faith and have three children, Barbara, Robert Jr.and James.

Peter “Pete” is the third child of Golda and Charles Lambright. Peter was a “jack” of all trades but mostly a farmer. Some of his cousins (kids) used to tease him with the nursery rhyme “Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater”, just to get him to chase them. If caught them he would give them a “dutch rub”, tickle them or something to aggravate them. Pete always said that he was picked off apickle vine and named himself, after his two grandfathrers.Audrey had two children form a previous marriage, Frances and Dolla. Peter did not adopt them but raised them as his own. Peter and Audrey have three children, Nina, Tommy and Lula.

Lyman is the fourth child of Golda and Charles Lambright. Lyman “Monk”was a coal miner and a farmer. He and Elaine were married for a very short time. He met her when he took a load of farm produce to Ohio. They soon married but one day he caught her in bed with the hired hand so he took her right back to Ohio and got a divorce. When Lyman was drafted for the Army in WWII they discovered that he had high blood pressure. They did not have the blood pressure medication that we have today so he volunteered as an experimentee for the Ely Lilly Drug Company. They did not find a cure for him but maybe some of us have benefited from what he did. His sister Wanda provided this information. Lyman and Elaine have no children.

Charles is the sixthe child of Peter and Paulina Pesch. Charles “Charlie” work mostly as a dairy farm hand. During WWII he worked some in defense plants.
Charles bought a farm around Seneca, Missouri and was there that he died of a heart attack. A neighbor heard Charles’ cows bawling and went to his home to see what was the matter and found Charles lying in the front yard. He had been there over night, because he was wet from the night dew.
Charles had never married but a widow of a preacher lived just down the road from him and was always asking Charles to fix something for her. She would bring him a pie or a cake pretty regular and he liked that and liked her cooking so he asked her to marry him. After the wedding Charles said that all she wanted to do was lie up in the bed, smoke cigarette and read “Love Story” magazines. He said he never got a pie or cake after the wedding. So he sent her back home and got a divorce. We have never been told her name
In his young years Charles fathered a child, in Bethany Illinois by Emma Bentz. Emma is the daughter of John and Hannah Bentz and the sister of Lula Pearl Bentz Pesch, the wife of Frank Nelson Pesch.When it became known that Emma was pregnant she was asked (told) to leave home. Nelson and Lula let her stay at their house until after the baby was born. After the bay was born, Emma’s mother, Hannah, asked Nelson if she could come to see the baby and he told it would be OK but warned her that if she started anything she would have to leave. The day she came to see Emma and the baby Nelson met her at the lane and stayed with her until she left just to make sure she honored her agreement. Hannah was also Nelson’s mother in law. I am told that Emma died a few years later and his grandmother Bentz raised him. Charles and Emma's child's name is Dale.
